Horticulture at UoAS focuses on the fruit, vegetable, ornamental and landscape systems that define agriculture in the northern valleys. Research covers temperate fruit production, post-harvest handling, protected cultivation, nursery technology and landscape design.
The department also delivers the University Landscape Technology diploma and the AutoCAD-based landscape design certificate.
