The doctoral programme combines advanced coursework with an extended, original research project carried out under a supervisory committee. Candidates are expected to make a substantive contribution to knowledge in their field and to publish in peer-reviewed journals before submission.

Progress is reviewed by the supervisory committee each semester, and the degree is awarded following a written thesis and a public defence.

Eligibility

M.Sc (Hons) or an equivalent 18-year degree in the relevant discipline from an HEC-recognised institution, with GAT-Subject as prescribed by HEC.
