The Department of Artificial Intelligence at The University of Agriculture Swat was established in November 2025 following the formal approval of the University’s statutory bodies. The department was founded with the vision of providing high-quality education, research, and innovation in the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence and emerging digital technologies. It aims to equip students with the theoretical foundations, practical expertise, and professional competencies required to develop intelligent systems, address complex real-world challenges, and contribute effectively to national and international development. Through a modern curriculum approved by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan, state-of-the-art facilities, and a strong commitment to academic excellence, the Department of Artificial Intelligence strives to produce skilled graduates capable of leading advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, and other related disciplines.

Graduates of the BS Artificial Intelligence program possess the knowledge and technical skills required to pursue diverse career opportunities in both the public and private sectors. The AI Graduates may pursue there careers as AI Expert. Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Deep Learning Specialists, Computer Vision Engineers, Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineers, Robotics Engineers, AI Researchers, Business Intelligence Analysts, Cybersecurity Analysts, Software Developers, and AI Consultants.
