Our Mission
The Journal of Climate Resilient Mountain Livelihood (JCRML) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to disseminating high-quality research on climate change adaptation and sustainable development in mountain ecosystems.
Published by the University of Agriculture, Swat, the journal serves as a platform for researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to share knowledge and innovations that enhance the resilience of mountain communities.

📋 General Requirements
- Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere
- All authors must approve the final version
- Plagiarism similarity index must be below 15%
- Studies involving human subjects require ethics approval
- Manuscripts should be in British English
📝 Manuscript Format
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced
- Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
- Length: 6000-8000 words for research articles
- Abstract: 250 words max, structured (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
- Keywords: 4-6 keywords following the abstract
- References: APA 7th edition style
- Figures: High resolution (300 DPI), TIFF or PNG format
🔍 Peer Review Process
- Initial screening by Editorial Office (3-5 days)
- Double-blind peer review by 2-3 experts (4-6 weeks)
- Author revision period (2-4 weeks)
- Final decision by Editor-in-Chief
- Production and publication (2-3 weeks)
Average time from submission to first decision: 6-8 weeks

- Submission Fee: Free
- Article Processing Charge (APC): PKR 15,000 / USD 75 (waived for corresponding authors from low-income countries)
- Color Figures: No additional charge
- Open Access: All articles freely available upon publication
